Prolonged sunlight can fade preserved specimens, while moisture can damage both the insects and backing materials. Avoid opening the sealed frame unnecessarily. Dust the exterior gently with a soft, dry cloth.

Because these are real preserved moth specimens, natural variations, minor imperfections, wing wear, and other signs of their natural life cycle may be present. These characteristics are part of what makes each specimen unique.
